KARMA KREW

What is Karma Krew?

In an effort to create a harmonious feeling between the yoga community and our local community, Balance Yoga’s Karma Krew was developed. This is essentially a gathering of warm-hearted people that have one common goal: to better and support our community as a whole. The group meets once a month at the location of a selected project and spends an entire day volunteering. For those who want to contribute but are not able to meet at the volunteer site, the opportunity to donate is offered at the main studio of Balance Yoga. Donations are dependent upon the specific volunteering site for that particular month.

Open your heart and join Karma Krew as we embrace the opportunity to change lives, including your own.

HURRICANE RELIEF

Hurricane Harvey has caused unprecedented damage across Houston and Southeast Texas. To help, NEPA native and San Antonio resident Westyn Hinchey Gibbons is collecting the following items for victims and evacuees of Hurricane Harvey:

  • Diapers
  • Formula
  • Baby food

All items will be delivered to the San Antonio Food Bank, whose staff is putting together emergency kits for our evacuated friends from Houston and Southeast Texas.

You can PayPal cash donations to Westyn at [email protected], which will be used to purchase the items above, or make a donation to the San Antonio Food Bank directly at https://safoodbank.org/donate/.
